This comes after Old Fort Road was closed to all traffic following fresh ground movement in the area of the 2018 landslide.

The May 19th post said this is a “welcome step forward” for residents who have been separated from their homes for the past month.

Emergency Support Services (ESS) support will be extended for an additional three days, and residents in the evacuation order issued on April 20th are eligible for ESS assistance.

To continue receiving ESS support, residents must renew their ESS file in person at the Pomeroy Sport Centre, located on 96th Street, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. or 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Residents are asked to attend on Wednesday, May 20th, to renew their ESS support. Renewals cannot be completed before or after this date.
