Former FSJ dance teacher charged with alleged historical sexual offences
After a Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued, Nigel Brock Jellison was arrested and charged with multiple counts of alleged sexual offences.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A former Fort St. John resident has been charged with multiple counts of alleged sexual assault.
According to a press release on April 28th by the White Rock RCMP, in 2021 a report of a historical sexual assault was received involving a dance teacher and student at a local dance studio in White Rock.
The General Investigation Section conducted the investigation, and as it progressed, additional victims were identified, all of whom were youths at the time of the alleged offences.

Investigators submitted a report to Crown Counsel to the BC Prosecuting Service for charge assessment.
BC Prosecution Service laid charges against 45-year-old Nigel Brock Jellison, known as “Brock Jellison,” and a Canada-wide warrant was issued for his arrest.
Jellison was arrested on April 15th in Magrath, Alberta, by White Rock RCMP, with assistance from the Raymond/Magrath RCMP. He was processed and released on conditions while awaiting his next court appearance.
He faces five counts of sexual assault and one count of sexual exploitation related to alleged offences involving four victims between 2006 and 2011.

Jellison was born and raised in Fort St. John.
The RCMP said Jellison was teaching at a local dance studio in White Rock when the alleged offences occurred. Investigators stated they know he has also been associated with other dance studios.
The police have not identified the business, due to the historical nature of the allegations and to avoid unintended impact on the studio’s operations.
Investigators found that Jellison was recently teaching in Alberta.
Rob Dixon, commander staff sergeant for the White Rock RCMP Detachment, said: “We believe there may be people within our community who were taught by Brock Jellison or attended the local dance studio who have information and have not yet spoken with police.”
