Crews were assigned to restore electricity to the area, and did so at 12:51 p.m. local time. The outage map suggested a tree fell down across power lines.

The area is home to two northeast B.C. First Nations: Saulteau First Nations (SFN) and West Moberly First Nations (WMFN).

The map showed the outage affected all within SFN’s area, while the east part of WMFN was also affected.
