Fort St. John prospect helps Flin Flon inch closer to SJHL title

Reid Arberry has had four goals and six assists for 10 points in the Flin Flon Bombers’ run to the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League finals.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) team’s championship run has included regular contributions from a Fort St. John transport.

Flin Flon Bombers forward Reid Arberry is a prospect currently playing for the club while they compete for the 2025-26 SJHL championship against the Yorkton Terriers.

He is from Fort St. John and has played with the North East BC Trackers’ and Fort St. John Huskies’ programs.

Flin Flon leads the best-of-seven series two games to none after victories on Friday, April 17th and Saturday, April 18th at home.

While Arberry did not score in game one of the finals, which was a 7-3 Flin Flon victory, he scored the opening goal of Saturday’s game two, a matchup the Bombers took by a score of 3-0, doubling their series lead.

Throughout the playoffs, Arberry has been a regular contributor to the Bombers, with four goals and six assists for 10 points in 13 playoff contests.

In his third season with Flin Flon, Arberry averaged one point per game during the 2025-26 regular season, recording 23 goals and 28 assists for 51 points in 52 games.

The Bombers will look to extend their lead over the Terriers, on Wednesday, April 22nd in game three of the SJHL finals.

It goes on Wednesday, April 22nd at 6:00 p.m. Fort St. John time and will be streamed live by FloHockey.
