Youth Athlete of the Month returns, powered by Fort Motors

Each monthly winner of Fort Motors’ Youth Athlete of the Month will receive a $100 gift card to Ernie’s Sports Experts and have their story published online courtesy of Energeticcity.ca.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A monthly feature highlighting athletes from across the region will return to Energeticcity.ca.

As announced on Fort St. John Today in late March, Youth Athlete of the Month will showcase a series of regional sports stars. The feature will be sponsored by Fort St. John’s Fort Motors.

Youth Athlete of the Month ran previously on Energeticcity.ca before ending in 2024.

Moose Media is the parent company of both Energeticcity.ca and Moose FM. Its president, Adam Reaburn, is enthusiastic about the return of Youth Athlete of the Month.

“With the help of Fort Motors, we are excited to see this program return,” Reaburn said. “Youth from any sport can be nominated for this program, and we encourage the community to nominate someone today.”

Each winner will receive a $100 gift card to Ernie’s Sports Experts and have their story published online courtesy of Energeticcity.ca.

Nominees can be submitted through the Youth Athlete of the Month website.

The first winner of the revived Youth Athlete of the Month will be announced before the conclusion of April.

A guy who found his calling later in life, Edward Hitchins is a professional storyteller with a colourful and extensive history.
