CHARLIE LAKE, B.C. — A pickup and snowmobile were stolen in Charlie Lake late last month, prompting a search for the items on social media and a police investigation.

Dakota Blake posted to Facebook on March 27th to say his pickup truck and snowmobile were stolen that evening from the Charlie Lake pub, the Historic Red Barn Pub and Grill, formerly known as the Jackfish Dundee.

The post included a picture of Blake’s white GMC pickup truck and a red Polaris Khaos model snowmobile.

“Truck and sled stolen from Jackfish pub in Charlie Lake. If seen, please call 911 immediately,” reads the post.

The Fort St. John RCMP detachment confirmed a file was opened on March 27th and an investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone who has seen the truck or snowmobile can contact the Fort St. John RCMP detachment at 250-787-8100.
