Peace River North MLA endorses B.C. Conservative leadership candidate
Peace River North MLA Jordan Kealy has announced his support for Conservative Party of British Columbia leader candidate Kerry-Lynne Findlay.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Peace River North MLA Jordan Kealy has pledged his support for a candidate to be the next leader of the Conservative Party of B.C.
Kealy announced his endorsement for Kerry-Lynne Findlay in a Facebook post on April 2nd.
“I’ve been part of this movement since the early days, and I’ve seen it grow from the ground up,” Kealy wrote. “I’ve seen what works, what doesn’t, and what it’s going to take to actually move from opposition to government.”
Kealy currently sits as an independent MLA after leaving the Conservative Party of B.C. in March 2025 amid a row with former leader John Rustad.
When asked in the comments of the post, Kealy said if Findlay were to win the leadership, he would consider rejoining the Conservative Party of B.C.
“Kerry-Lynne Findlay brings the experience, judgment and steadiness this moment calls for. She’s taken on tough fights, stood her ground and earned the respect of people across British Columbia. She understands what’s at stake and she knows how to carry it.”
According to Kealy, people trust Findlay because she shows up, listens and follows through.
“That kind of credibility matters if we’re serious about building something that lasts.”
