In 2026, however, Fochuk was near the top of the competition, being one of four archers to reach a total score of 899 after three days, requiring a shoot-out playoff for victory.
He fell one point short of the U.S.’s Reo Wilde, who shot a 120 during the playoff compared to Fochuk’s 119, meaning he wound up in second position.
New Totem Archery took to Facebook to congratulate Fochuk, giving him a “huge congratulations” on his performance.
The Vegas Shoot is an annual competition which has roots dating back to 1962, according to its website. The 2026 edition took place from Thursday, March 26th to Sunday, March 29th.
