Telus mobile network outage hits Fort St. John

Telus outages, first reported on March 28th, have continued to affect access to mobile networks in Fort St. John on March 31st.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A Telus mobile network outage is affecting regions across western Canada, including Fort St. John.

The outage was first reported on March 28th at 2:47 a.m. and was last updated on March 31st, at 4:05 p.m. 

According to the Telus outage map: “Mobility services are experiencing a disruption which may result in you being unable to access the internet from your mobile device.”

City of Fort St. John communications manager Ryan Harvey says his computers and cellphone have been in and out of service. 

There is no word on what has caused the outage or when it will be resolved.
