Hudson’s Hope Health Centre closes for 11th working day since late February
‘Staffing shortages’ have closed the Hudson’s Hope Health Centre on March 30th for the 11th working day since February 24th.

HUDSON’S HOPE, B.C. — The health centre in Hudson’s Hope has been closed once again for the 11th time since late February.
According to Northern Health’s Emergency Department status page, the centre is closed again on March 30th and will reopen on March 31st at 8.30 a.m.
The centre was previously closed from February 24th to 27th, March 6th, March 10th, March 13th, March 20th, March 23rd, and March 27th.

Today’s closure means the centre closed at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 26th and has not reopened since.
In a written statement to Energeticcity.ca, Northern Health said: “Hudson’s Hope Health Centre is currently experiencing an interruption to its daytime, weekday emergency department services as a result of a staffing shortage.”
During normal working hours, the centre is open from Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On weekends and outside of normal working hours, residents in need of emergency healthcare are urged to call 911 to connect to BC Emergency Health Services for transport to the nearest available hospital.
