A fire at Fort St. John’s Poor Boy Trucking saw firefighters combating the inferno for five and a half hours.

CHARLIE LAKE, B.C. — A weekend fire in Charlie Lake brought firecrews from Fort St. John and the township of Charlie Lake together to tackle it.

Charlie Lake firefighters were alerted to a structural fire at 9:02 p.m. on Saturday, March 28th at Poor Boy Trucking, located at 12208 242 Road in Fort St. John near the Charlie Lake protection area.

According to the PRRD, 15 firefighters from the Charlie Lake Fire Department were assisted by five Fort St. John firefighters.

The combined efforts of the two units took five and a half hours fighting the fire.
