“Well, that’s enough winter for anybody. Perhaps it’s time to turn our thoughts towards summer and the return of Ribfest,” reads the post.

Featuring four rib vendors, live music and entertainment, a beer garden and a 50/50 draw, proceeds from the free event benefit both the Rotary Club of Fort St. John and the Sunrise Rotary Club of Fort St. John.

Ribfests are a summer tradition in communities nationwide, with the first recorded Ribfest sponsored by a Rotary Club in 1996 in Burlington, Ontario.
