(UPDATE) Multi-vehicle incident shuts down Highway 97
Drive BC reports Highway 97 is closed for nearly four kilometres in both directions between Old Summit Lake Road and Wright Creek Road due to a multi-vehicle incident.

Drive BC reports Highway 97, which connects Fort St.John and Prince George, is closed in both directions for nearly four kilometres north of Prince George in both directions.
The multi-vehicle incident occurred between Old Summit Lake Road and Wright Creek Road, six kilometres north of Prince George.
British Columbia Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) confirmed they responded to a report involving a motor vehicle at just after 12:40 p.m.
BCEHS paramedic public information officer Brian Twaites said: “An ambulance with primary care paramedics, a paramedic practice educator and a paramedic supervisor responded to the scene.

“Paramedics provided emergency medical care to one patient who was transported to hospital in a stable condition.”
No detours are currently available. According to DriveBC, the highway is expected to reopen at 9 p.m. on Monday, March 16th.
