Early learning program to restart in Tumbler Ridge

TUMBLER RIDGE, B.C. — The specialized program for children will be reopening in Tumbler Ridge. 

The Tumbler Ridge StrongStart program will reopen on Monday, March 30th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

Cara McLean, facilitator for StrongStart, is welcoming families to the temporary space located at Tumbler Ridge’s Child and Youth Support Centre in Tumbler Ridge Place.

StrongStart closed on February 10th, the day nine people died in a mass shooting at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School and a nearby residence

The StrongStart program provides children with an environment to learn language, social, physical, emotional and skills related to thinking.
