Residents get opportunity to talk local issues at community meeting series with PRRD
Peace River Regional District (PRRD) electoral area D director Leonard Hiebert is hosting a series of meetings for local residents starting March 23rd and ending April 1st across northeast B.C.

FORT ST JOHN, B.C.— Community members across northern B.C. have the opportunity to voice their concerns about local issues in a series of upcoming forums with elected representatives.Â
The Peace River Regional District (PRRD)Â has said it will host a number of community meetings during March and April, all from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The meeting at Pouce Coupe Senior’s Hall is set for March 23rd, followed by one at Kelly Lake Community Hall in Tomslake on March 24th and Cutbank Community Hall in Arras on March 25th.
Following a five-day break, the meetings will resume at Farmington Community Hall on March 30th, before shifting to Doe River Community Hall in Rolla on March 31st.Â
The final PRRD meeting will be held at Tate Creek Community Hall in Tomslake on April 1st.Â
Residents in the areas of Farmington, Pouce Coupe, Tomslake, Arras and Rolla who attend the meetings will be offered an open forum to discuss local issues that are important to them with their elected officials.
Those who attend will also have the chance to learn more about regional initiatives and future projects.Â

Electoral area D director Leonard Hiebert says the meetings are an exciting way to hear the concerns held by residents.Â
“Community meetings with residents are all about listening,” said Hiebert. “I really look forward to talking with as many residents as possible about what matters most to them.
“Whether it’s services, community spaces, safety or something else entirely. This is an opportunity for residents to have an in-person conversation with their elected representative.”
Residents will receive meeting invitations through the mail, as well as via the PRRD website and Facebook.
