Dawson Creek pub applies to expand patron capacity

The Whiskey Pickle pub has applied for a permanent increase in the number of patrons allowed in its licensed service area, from 24 to 45.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — A pub in Dawson Creek has applied to expand its capacity.

According to a public notice posted on the city’s website, The Whiskey Pickle pub, located at 11605 8th Street, has applied to the province’s Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch for a structural change to its existing liquor primary licence. 

The application seeks a permanent increase in the number of patrons allowed in the licensed service area.

The pub’s current licensed capacity is 24 people. If approved, the proposed change would increase that capacity to 45 people.

For more information about the application, residents can call the City of Dawson Creek’s deputy corporate officer, Janice Anderson, at 250-784-3636.
