FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Below are the latest sentences handed down from the Fort St. John, Dawson Creek and Fort Nelson provincial courts between November 24th and 28th.
Fort St. John Provincial Court sentencing, November 24th
Jaydon Dominick Diblasio (born 2001):
Diblasio was found guilty of one count each of breaching a probation order and theft worth $5,000 or under in Fort St. John in September 2025.
Diblasio was sentenced to jail time served, alongside a suspended sentence and a 12-month probation order.
Wendy Janice Elias (born 1979):
Elias was found guilty of assaulting a peace officer on March 1st, 2025 in Fort St. John, and was sentenced to jail time served as well as being given a 12-month probation order.

Brent Forrest Johnstone (born 1985):
Johnstone was found guilty of breaching a probation order in Fort St. John in August 2025, and sentenced to jail time served.
Frankie Robert Leland (born 1983):
Leland was found guilty of theft worth $5,000 or under on May 4th, May 11th and July 22nd, 2025 in Fort St. John.
Leland was issued a 12-month probation order and a 30-day conditional sentence, which is served outside of jail under strict conditions, sometimes called ‘house arrest.’
Crystal Lynn Marshall (born 1981)
Marshall was found guilty of assault on August 6th, 2024 in Fort St. John. However, Marshall was given an absolute discharge, which means no conviction was registered and there are no conditions to follow.
Oliver Leslie Wokeley (born 1981)
Reasonable grounds were satisfied for Wokeley after an incident in Halfway River on 10th July, 2025. Reasonable grounds satisfied means the courts found an allegation did take place.
Wokeley was given a $500 recognizance after the allegation. If Wokeley fails to follow the conditions laid out by the court for 12 months, they must pay the $500.
Dawson Creek Provincial Court sentencing, November 25th
Allan Jacob Gundlach (born 1984)
Gundlach was found guilty of driving while prohibited or with a suspended licence in Dawson Creek on November 15th, 2024.
The court sentenced Gundlach to 30 days in jail, banned them from driving for two years under the Motor Vehicle Act and gave them a $300 fine.
Quinn John Leon Nelson (born 1994)
Nelson was found guilty of failing or refusing to comply with a demand on March 16th, 2025.
Nelson was fined $2,000, prohibited from driving for a year and ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge, which goes towards helping the victims of a crime.
Wayne Jerry Conley (born 1978)
Conley was found guilty of breaking and entering and committing an indictable offence and wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer in March 2024 in One Island Lake, B.C. They were also found guilty of breaching a release order in Dawson Creek in the summer that year.
For these, Conley was sentenced to a single day in jail and given eight months under a conditional sentence order, followed by 18 months of probation. He was also handed a one-month conditional sentence order for the charge related to the peace officer but it will be served concurrently.
Fort Nelson Provincial Court sentencing, November 25th
Kathy Wanda Needlay (born 1972)
Needlay was found guilty of driving while prohibited or with a suspended licence on July 6th, 2025 in Fort Nelson, and has been banned from driving for one year under the Motor Vehicle Act.
Needlay was also told to pay a $1,000 fine and a victim surcharge of $150.
Fort St. John Provincial Court sentencing, November 26th
Tanela Letho (born 1989)
Reasonable grounds were satisfied for Letho after an incident in Fort St. John on 26th September, 2024.
Letho was given a $500 recognizance after the allegation. If Letho fails to follow the conditions laid out by the court for 12 months, they must pay the $500.
Fort Nelson Provincial Court sentencing, November 27th
Staci Marie Badine (born 1992)
Badine was found guilty of forcible entry and assault with a weapon in Fort Nelson on March 17th, 2025.
They were issued a six-month conditional sentence and an 18-month probation order, as well as being told to report for DNA sample collection.
Manuel Jacques Ribeiro (born 1992)
Ribeiro was found guilty of breaching an undertaking in Fort Nelson on July 2nd, 2025, and was given a conditional discharge alongside a 15-month probation order.
Fort St. John Provincial Court sentencing, November 28th
Mackenzie Reid Bowman (born 1999)
Bowman was found guilty of dangerous operation of a conveyance and motor vehicle theft on November 11th, 2022 in Fort St. John.
The court gave Bowman a nine-month conditional sentence, two one-year probation orders and banned them from driving for two years. Bowman was also ordered to report for DNA sample collection.
Coby Roy Skiffington (born 1995)
Skiffington was found guilty of wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer, possessing stolen property worth over $5,000 and dangerous operation of a conveyance in November 2024 in Fort St. John.
Skiffington was also found guilty of two counts of breaking and entering to commit an indictable offence and one count each of breaching a release order, flight from police and wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer on December 1st, 2024 in Fort St. John.
For this, Skiffington was sentenced to jail time served, given a two-year driving ban, a 270-day probation order and 270-day conditional sentence, told to report for DNA sample collection and ordered to pay $3556.66 in restitution, which requires the offender to pay the victim for financial losses the victim suffered because of the crime.
