Fort St. John Co-op Community Christmas Concert returns for the holiday season

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A Fort St. John holiday tradition is making its return later this month.

The Fort St. John Co-op Community Christmas Concert, sponsored by Moose FM, will take place on Wednesday, November 26th at the Lido Theatre. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the show running from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The evening will begin with a special presentation from the Fort St. John Co-op, recognizing the organization’s Community Champions from the past year.

Following the presentation, there will be performances by local bands Blackbird and Locust and Honey.

According to Moose FM, proceeds from ticket sales will support the North Peace Pregnancy Care Centre, a non-profit which provides support to local families affected by unexpected pregnancy and pregnancy loss.

“Events like the Fort St. John Co-op Community Christmas Concert are a powerful reminder of the good that happens when a community comes together,” said Chris Walker, Moose FM’s program director. 

“At Moose FM, we’re proud to support initiatives that not only celebrate the season but also make a real difference for organizations like the North Peace Pregnancy Care Centre. Their work provides vital support to local families, and it’s important to us to help ensure those services remain available to anyone who needs them.”

Walker added that the concert is a chance to “highlight the impact of the North Peace Pregnancy Care Centre, the generosity of the Fort St. John Co-op and the incredible talent of our local musicians all in one event.”
