SOUTH PEACE, B.C. — A high winds warning has been issued for the South Peace. 

Environment Canada says strong winds gusting up to 90km/h are expected overnight from November 9th to 10th in a warning covering Dawson Creek, Tumbler Ridge and Chetwynd.

It urges people to secure loose objects and anticipate possible utility outages as winds pick up this evening. Additionally, drivers of high-sided vehicles should expect them to be pushed around by the wind.
