RCMP search for unattended horses loose in Fort St. John

RCMP are searching for two horses seen wandering the streets of Fort St. John in the morning of November 7th.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Local law enforcement in Fort St. John are investigating a report of two unattended horses in the area of Northern Lights Drive today.

According to Corporal Madonna Saunderson, an RCMP media relations officer, the Fort St. John RCMP are investigating reports of a pair of horses seen unattended in the area of Northern Lights Drive in the morning of November 7th.

Social media posts in the Everything Fort St. John Facebook group noted the horses had been sighted on 118a Avenue. Comments from residents noted they had seen the horses walking east on Northern Lights Drive, and near Anne Robert Elementary School.
