Bench warrant issued after stabbing suspect fails to appear in court
Kayla Breeze Trudeau failed to appear for her November 3rd arraignment hearing, according to Court Services Online.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A bench warrant has been issued for a person arrested after a stabbing incident in Fort St. John.
Kayla Breeze Trudeau was arrested on August 28th after local RCMP officers investigated reports of a stabbing in the area of 100th Street and 99th Avenue earlier that same day.
A man was taken to hospital after the investigation with what police called “non-life-threatening injuries.”
Trudeau — who is facing charges of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose — has been in and out of the courts in the weeks since her arrest.
Following a hearing in early September to consult with counsel, the 28-year-old had an arraignment hearing scheduled to take place in October, first on the 6th and then on the 27th.
However, both hearing dates were ultimately adjourned at the request of the defence.
Trudeau was then scheduled to appear for her arraignment on Monday, November 3rd, according to Court Services Online (CSO).
