Two arrested following alleged arson and shooting at local nightclub
Fort St. John RCMP officers claim they found evidence of both arson and gunshots fired at a local nightclub after a fire was extinguished by firefighters on October 31st.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Police officers say two people have been arrested following an alleged arson and shooting incident in Fort St. John.
According to a new press release from the city’s RCMP detachment, at 5:48 a.m. on Halloween, police responded to reports of a suspicious fire at a nightclub located near 100th Avenue and 103rd Street.
The fire had already been extinguished by the Fort St. John Fire Department when police arrived. Officers processed the crime scene, where they claim to have found evidence of both arson and gunfire directed at the building.

Social media posts from residents at the time reported emergency vehicles stationed outside the New Frontier Bar and Grill.
Nobody was injured and police say they believe the incident was isolated. Later that morning, officers converged on a residence in Taylor and arrested two individuals without incident.
The two arrested individuals, who haven’t been named by police, are being held in custody as the investigation continues, and the residence they were arrested in is reportedly being held for a search warrant.
This comes soon after three shooting incidents in less than a week in Fort St. John.
