The radiothon was hosted by the literacy society in partnership with Moose Media, the parent company of Energeticcity.ca. The event aimed to raise funds to support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a program that provides free books each month to local children from birth to age five through the Fort St. John Literacy Society.
The literacy society’s executive director, Danelle Boyd, expressed her gratitude to the community for its continued generosity.
“We are grateful for all the support received from residents, businesses and organizations,” Boyd said.
“A big thank you to Merwin Optical Fort St. John for their continued monthly support, and to all who help make this program possible.”
