DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — The Dawson Creek and District Hospital emergency department will be closed for 10 hours, according to a post from the region’s health authority.

Northern Health posted to Facebook at 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 2nd, explaining the hospital’s emergency department would be unavailable from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. on October 3rd, due to “staffing challenges.”

This is the first emergency closure at the hospital since mid-September, when the department closed for the very same reason.
