FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Below are the latest sentences handed down from the Fort St. John and Dawson Creek provincial courts from September 15th to 19th.
Fort St John Provincial Court sentencing, September 15th
Dale Michael Bagan (born 1973):

Bagan was found guilty of driving while their licence was suspended for an incident in Fort St. John on July 11th, 2024. Bagan was issued a $1,000 fine, an 18-month driving prohibition and a $150 victim surcharge, which goes towards helping the victims of a crime.
Sage Brandon Lee Hunter (born 1994):
Hunter was found guilty of seven counts of breaching a release order, four counts of assault and one count of assault by choking for incidents in the Halfway River area that took place between August 2024 and August 2025.
Hunter was issued conditional sentences for a combined total of 21 months, in addition to jail time served. A conditional sentence is a sentence to be served outside of jail under strict conditions, sometimes called ‘house arrest.’

Hunter was also issued four 12-month probation orders, a 10-year firearm prohibition and was ordered to report for DNA sample collection.
Ethan John Potvin (born 2001):
Potvin was found guilty of driving while prohibited and/or with a suspended licence for an incident in Fort St. John on March 4th, 2025. Potvin was issued a $500 fine and a $75 victim surcharge.
Michael Ricky Andrew Stafford (born 1993):
Stafford was found guilty of willfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer, dangerous operation of a conveyance, driving while prohibited and/or with a suspended licence, forcible entry, two counts of breaching a release order, and breaking and entering a dwelling with intent to commit, for incidents in Fort St. John that took place between July 2019 and July 2025.
Stafford was sentenced to a combined total of 1,260 days in jail, issued five three-year probation orders, fined $1,000 as well as $150 in victim surcharges and received two year-long driving prohibitions.
Dawson Creek Provincial Court sentencing, September 15th
Angela Marcia Littlechild (born 1999):
Littlechild was found guilty of two counts of breaking and entering and committing an indictable offence for incidents in Dawson Creek in July 2023. Littlechild was issued two suspended sentences, where the accused is given conditions to follow, as well as two 12-month probation orders.
Dawson Creek Provincial Court sentencing, September 16th
Corbyn Ellis Endicott (born 1991):
Endicott was found guilty of two counts of robbery, three counts of breaching a release order and one count each of robbery where a firearm is used, disguising their face with intent to commit an offence and attempting to pervert/defeat/obstruct justice, for incidents in Dawson Creek between February and September 2023.
Endicott was sentenced to a combined total of eleven years plus an additional 450 days in jail, ordered to report for DNA sample collection and to pay a total of $4,714 in restitution, which requires the offender to pay the victim for financial losses the victim suffered because of the crime.
Endicott was also issued a 10-year firearm prohibition.
Fort St. John Provincial Court sentencing, September 18th
Keith Steven Defehr, born 1992:
Defehr was found guilty of mischief $5,000 or under for an incident in Fort St. John on October 7th, 2024. Defehr was issued a conditional discharge and a $100 victim surcharge. A conditional discharge means the record won’t show a conviction if Defehr meets the conditions the judge sets.
Luke Warrener (born 1992):
Warrener was found guilty of two counts of possession of child pornography for incidents in Dawson Creek in November 2019 and April 2020.
Warrener received two conditional sentences, each for two years less a day, as well as two 36-month probation orders and $400 in victim surcharges.
Warrener was also ordered to report for DNA sample collection, issued two five-year sexual offence prohibitions and subjected to forfeiture, which allows the government to seize property and assets ‘tainted’ by crime.
Dawson Creek Provincial Court sentencing, September 18th
Pamela Rae Beaudoin (born 1983):
Beaudoin was found guilty of theft $5,000 or under for an incident in Dawson Creek on October 2nd, 2024. Beaudoin was issued a 75-day conditional sentence and a 12-month probation order.
