Bin replacements likely to disrupt Hudson’s Hope and Tumbler Ridge transfer stations
The PRRD has warned locals to expect disruptions at waste transfer stations in Hudson’s Hope and Tumbler Ridge.

HUDSON’S HOPE, B.C. — Hudson’s Hope and Tumbler Ridge locals should expect temporary changes at their local waste transfer stations later this month.
The Peace River Regional District (PRRD) announced in a social media post on September 16th it will be replacing the bins used for household waste collection at the Tumbler Ridge Transfer Station at 103 Ridge Road and the Hudson’s Hope Transfer Station at 20318 Canyon Road.
At the Tumbler Ridge site, construction is scheduled from September 22nd to 25th, followed by Hudson’s Hope from September 26th to 28th.

During construction, regular operations at both sites may be affected and adjustments to garbage disposal procedures will be in place.
Residents are encouraged to check in with the station attendant upon arrival for guidance.
The PRRD thanked residents for their cooperation and patience during this scheduled maintenance.
