FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A water station has closed once again for repairs after being closed for almost a year.

On September 11th, the Peace River Regional District (PRRD) announced the Boundary Lake Water Station would be “temporarily out of service” until September 12th due to a break in the station’s water feed line.

The station reopened on July 18th after being closed for 11 months to undergo repairs following a chemical leak caused by an unauthorized truck that tried to take water from the facility without permission.

Since being reopened in July, it has closed at least three times due to outages or repairs.

The PRRD encourages residents who would travel to the Boundary Lake Water Station to instead patron the Feye Spring Water Station at 1863 Imperial Avenue.
