This week, Energeticcity.ca reporters travelled to Calgary to attend the Fraser Institute’s 2025 Journalism Conference. They are joining the ranks of more than 500 Canadian journalists who have participated in the Fraser Institute’s journalism programs over the years.

  1. BC Hydro reveals how much it paid to Peace for projects including Site C: The utility has revealed the amount of money it paid to the Peace River Regional District, District of Hudson’s Hope and City of Fort St. John in 2024 and 2025 in grants-in-lieu of taxes.
