In a September 1st Facebook post, the City of Fort St. John reminded drivers who go through school zones to “slow down or you might just get ‘schooled’ with a ticket.”
The District of Taylor also issued a reminder, emphasizing the importance of staying alert and patient as more students, parents and buses are back on the roads.
“Let’s work together to make this school year a safe and positive one for everyone,” the post said, noting that distracted driving, speeding and failing to stop for school buses are among the biggest safety concerns this time of year.
