(UPDATE) Chetwynd RCMP locate missing woman safe and sound

Police officers in Chetwynd say they have located a missing woman they had been trying to find for several days.

Updated, September 2nd, 9:30 a.m.: This article has been updated based on new information shared by the Chetwynd RCMP detachment.

CHETWYND, B.C. — Police officers in Chetwynd say they have located a missing woman they had been trying to find for several days.

The detachment issued a notice that they were searching for the missing 30-year-old woman on August 28th. She had reportedly been missing since a few days prior on August 21st.

Police now say she has been located safe and sound. Officers are thanking members of the media and the public for their assistance.
