BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) received the call at just after 6 p.m., and sent an ambulance staffed by primary care paramedics to the scene.

“Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to one patient who was transported to hospital in stable condition,” BCEHS spokesperson Bowen Osoko told Energeticcity.ca

There was a detour available via Brassey Road, but only for “small traffic.”
