TAYLOR, B.C. — The District of Taylor will be opening a new dog park in September.

A grand opening event for the park is planned on September 11th at 3 p.m. at the former Ball Diamond number two near the District Ice Centre.

The District of Taylor encourages residents to bring their dogs for an afternoon filled with play, socializing and “paw-sitive” vibes.

The district also encourages visitors to follow posted dog park rules, which include:

  • Using the park at your own risk
  • Cleaning up dog waste immediately
  • Supervising dogs at all times, owners are solely liable for the actions of their pets
  • Avoiding bringing aggressive or sick dogs, females in heat, puppies under four months old or glass containers
