The service is currently only available on weekdays from 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Route 4 Southeast and Route 5 Southwest will also resume their regular schedules, due to an expected increase in ridership with the start of the school year.

Construction detours will remain in place, expected to last until October 15th, and passengers are encouraged to check the detour map and sign up for service alerts for the latest updates.

BC Transit says the expansion is possible thanks to increased local and provincial funding through the 2025–26 provincial budget, which included an operating grant for the service.

More details on the changes can be found in the Fort St. John Rider’s Guide.
