In an interview with Energeticcity.ca, the owner of both of the latter two locations claimed he was offering a $5,000 reward for information regarding the perpetrator, saying he believed the incidents to be deliberate attacks.

Police officers now say they believe the arson and vandalism incidents are connected, as a white flat-deck pickup truck was seen leaving the scene of the arson and arriving at the scene of the vandalism.
