Drivers warned of road and lane closures in Fort St. John

Road and lane closures are taking place in Fort St. John this week and at the long weekend due to scheduled maintenance work.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Road and lane closures are taking place in Fort St. John this week due to scheduled maintenance work.

Northern Lights Drive will have a lane closed from Wednesday, July 30th to Monday, August 4th for crack sealing work.

The affected stretch begins at 100th Street and heads east. Drivers are advised to yield to oncoming traffic and stay alert for road crews in the area.

In addition, a full closure is planned at the intersection of 96th Street and 101st Avenue on Thursday, July 31st and Friday, August 1st as paving work gets underway.

Drivers will need to detour around the intersection during this time.
