FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Work on Cecil Lake Road meant to begin this week has been postponed by Dawson Road Maintenance.

The company — responsible for maintaining all provincial roads in the North Peace — was set to begin maintenance on a stretch of the road on Monday, July 28th for several weeks.

However, the company has announced that the work has been delayed due to recent rainy weather causing water levels to rise in nearby streams.
