The NRRM says Northern Rockies Fire Rescue workers were able to save the victim thanks to their “extensive and specialized training.”

Energeticcity.ca contacted BCEHS for more information regarding the extent of the victim’s injuries and did not immediately receive a response.

The municipality is also thanking members of BCEHS, the local RCMP detachment and the BC Wildfire Service for their assistance with the rescue.
