A man was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Officers claim they found a black pistol on his person and seized it. It was later identified as a BB pistol.

“Because the Fort St John RCMP take firearms calls very seriously, calls of this nature will always draw a significant police response,” said Constable Chad Neustaeter.

“Thank you to the public who saw something they knew wasn’t right and reported it to police in the interest of public safety.”
