FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Yet another former Fort St. John Huskies player has committed to Marian University for the chance to play hockey for the Wisconsin school.
Defenceman Connor Cozens has committed to play for the school’s American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division Two club program for 2025-26, according to a Facebook post from the Sabres page on Monday, July 14th.
He joins Ashton Underhill, who committed to the program earlier this off-season.
The 22-year-old Whitehorse, Yukon native spent three seasons with the Pups and his 2024-25 season was his most productive in his tenure.

In the playoffs, he provided leadership for the young Huskies, with a goal and four assists as Fort St. John captured its fifth league title in six seasons and finished fourth at the Hockey Alberta 2025 provincial championships.
Cozens joins a program with several former Huskies, including junior forward Cayden Frenette and senior Tyler McArthur.
