BCNREB reports more than 350 property sales in FSJ through 2025 so far
Fort St. John property sales are up compared to last year, according to the BC Northern Real Estate Board.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Real estate sales in Fort St. John are up for the first half of this year compared to 2024, according to the BC Northern Real Estate Board (BCNREB).
The board’s latest quarterly report says 352 properties worth $135.3 million have sold in the first half of this year – up to June 30th – an increase on the 149 sales reported in the first quarter and up from the 329 sales worth $119.5 million reported at the same time last year.
This year’s figure includes 158 single-family homes — with a median selling price of $393,750 — as well as 16 vacant plots of land, 45 half-duplexes, 31 homes on acreage, eight manufactured homes in parks and 29 manufactured homes on land.

The number of properties on the market in the city is also up from last year, with 482 listed by June 30th, 2025 compared to 402 at the end of March.
Fort Nelson, meanwhile, reported 29 sales worth $6.7 million by the end of June this year, up from 26 sales worth $5.3 million by the same time last year.
According to BCNREB, 2,345 properties have been sold across its coverage area in the first six months of 2025.
That’s an increase from the 2,281 sales reported in the first six months of 2024.

The board also says ‘seasonally adjusted’ market activity varied wildly across the north, rising in many areas but declining slightly in Fort St. John.
