Police search for potential witness after aggravated assault and robbery

The Fort St. John RCMP have released a picture of a man who was potentially a witness to an aggravated assault and robbery last fall.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Fort St. John RCMP are seeking the public’s help in identifying an eyewitness to a crime committed last fall.

The detachment received a call last November 6th about an alleged aggravated assault and robbery which took place on 89th Avenue in Fort St. John.  The victim’s truck was stolen. 

According to a press release on July 10th, a potential witness has been identified during the investigation.

The witness is described as male, with stubby facial hair and a slender facial structure. Police say he was wearing a blue toque and a blue zip-up collared coat.

Police say details “are limited” and are hoping to further the investigation with the public’s assistance.

Anyone with information about the investigation is asked to call the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
