BC Transit changes summer service bus routes in Fort St. John

BC Transit bus routes in Fort St. John will change on June 29th for the summer season due to less demand from students after the school year ends.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — BC Transit bus routes in Fort St. John are changing this month due to the seasonal change in demand. 

Starting on Sunday, June 29th, Route Four Southeast and Route Five Southwest will be discontinued for the summer season. 

Stops on those routes will be added to Route Two Southside and Route Three Central-Prospect Park.

According to BC Transit, the changes are due to a drop in demand with students no longer using the service at the end of the school year.

All bus routes will return to normal in September. 

BC Transit said its detours from construction in Fort St. John also remain in effect.
