GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALTA. — Even more Albertans displaced by a wildfire that began in B.C. can return home now, according to the County of Grande Prairie.

On June 12th, the county announced further changes to its existing evacuation order and alert for the Kiskatinaw River wildfire.

The county previously eased restrictions on June 11th, allowing some displaced evacuees to return to their homes. These new changes have come into effect due to “recent rainfall, favourable weather conditions and the continued efforts of firefighting crews.”
