Collision leaves motorcyclist with injuries
Fort St. John RCMP were called to the scene of a collision at the intersection of 92A Street and the Alaska Highway on Monday, June 9th.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A two-vehicle collision in Fort St. John this week left a motorcyclist with injuries.
According to Constable Chad Neustaeter of the Fort St. John RCMP, police were called to the scene of an incident at the intersection of 92A Street and the Alaska Highway at 6:39 p.m. on Monday, June 9th.
They found a white SUV had collided with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle while the vehicle was completing a left turn onto 92A street.

The rider of the motorcycle was then transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Although the two passengers in the SUV were uninjured, Neustaeter told Energeticcity.ca the driver was issued a ticket for failing to yield on a left turn.
“The Fort St John RCMP wish to remind the public to take extra precaution when making any left-hand turns,” said Neustaeter.
“Left-hand turns are where we typically see most of the collisions because the turn takes drivers across the path of oncoming traffic.”
