CP NewsAlert: One child killed, another hurt in Vancouver speedboat crash
Police in North Vancouver say an 11-year-old child is died and another is in hospital after a speed boat hit them while they were being towed on an inner tube on Saturday.
North Vancouver RCMP say the driver of the speed boat is in custody but has yet to be charged.
They say speed and alcohol may have been a factor.
