Drivers should expect delays as street sweeping scheduled for Taylor

Road maintenance will be taking place in Taylor on the Alaska Highway on June 9th from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Drivers on Highway 97 can expect to see delays through Taylor next week as the streets are swept. 

According to DriveBC, the road maintenance will be taking place in Taylor on the Alaska Highway on June 9th from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

On the 2.5 km stretch of road from the Taylor Bridge to Birch Avenue, cones and traffic instructors will be present while the work is conducted.

Local drivers are asked to follow all road traffic instructions and drive slowly through the area. 

DriveBC has stated an update on the maintenance will be issued at 4 p.m. on June 9th.
