It was definitely a busy spring for us here at Energeticcity.ca. From the federal election to wildfire season starting up, we’ve been out and about in the community reporting on local stories, as well as attending some fun events. It’s always interesting to see what the readers of Energeticcity.ca are most curious about. Sometimes it’s a big decision that will impact property taxes, and sometimes it’s a new restaurant coming to town. Here are the most-read stories for the week of May 18 to 24, 2025:

  1. Vandals Smash Windshield of Indigenous-Inspired Vehicle: on May 12, 2025, in Fort St John. An outpouring of support for Dan Prince’s wheels has surfaced, including one resident who paid for the damage to be repaired.​
  2. Mother Considers Legal Action Against FSJ Hospital: after alleged poor care for her injured son. Melanie Jansen claims a pair of misdiagnoses on the injury and a lack of adequate care led to her son’s injury becoming worse.
  3. Court Report:​ for the week of May 12 to 16, 2025. Included are the latest sentences handed down from the Dawson Creek Provincial Court
