2025 BC Grain AGM and field tour coming to Peace region

The BC Grain Producers Association will hold its 2025 BC Grain AGM and field tour at Montney Hall on July 10th.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. —  Farmers are coming together in the Peace region to discuss funding, insurance and other opportunities for the grain producers in British Columbia. 

The BC Grain Producers Association (BCGPA) will host the 2025 BC Grain AGM and field tour on July 10th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Montney Hall, north of Charlie Lake. 

The meeting will feature speakers to discuss topics such as funding opportunities for grain producers, farm insurance and liabilities, contracts and buying options that limit risk and a Prairie pest monitoring update.

The event will also include two field stops. 

According to its website, the BCGPA aims to improve the viability of the grains and oilseed industry in the province, with most of its members located in the region.
