RCMP investigating targeted shooting in Fort St. John

RCMP are investigating a targeted shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in the 11000 block of 92nd Street.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — RCMP are investigating a targeted shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in the 11000 block of 92nd Street.

Around 1:40 a.m. on May 11th, 2025, the Fort St. John RCMP responded to reports of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle parked at a residence with what appeared to be multiple bullet holes.

Police searched the residence and nearby properties and confirmed no one was injured in the incident.

“Fortunately, no one was injured during the shooting. It appears to be targeted at a residence known to police,” said RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Brett Urano. “Police do not believe there is any ongoing risk to the public.”

Mounties are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity or who has dash camera footage from the area between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. to contact the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8140.
