$125,000 lottery ticket drawn in Dawson Creek

Dawson Creek resident Bradley Field has won $125,000 in the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC)’s Scratch and Win game.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — A Dawson Creek resident has won $125,000 from a Scratch and Win prize.

According to the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), Bradley Field went to the Dawson Co-op Mall on 8th Street in Dawson Creek for lunch and bought a $10 Treasures of the Nile Scratch and Win ticket.

Field went home and scanned the ticket on the BCLC Lotto! app while sitting next to his fiancee, discovering he won the top prize of $125,000.

Field said he and his fiancée were “stunned.”

He recalls shouting “holy [expletive]!” at the news. 

He claimed his prize on April 28th at BCLC’s Kamloops office.

The lottery winner plans to pay off his mortgage and possibly visit Australia.
